Yes, the mates are available to filet your fish at a normal fee

On the all day trip, we are traveling for at least one hour. More often than not we are traveling 1-1/2 to 2 hours. Our vessel can travel at 25 knots but typically we cruise at 18 knots, taking us out to sea 20 to 35 miles.

Fish that are typically caught are Cod, Haddock, Pollock and Cusk

If the mates have been attentive to your needs, gaffing your fish, helping out with tangled lines, taking your fish off the hook, showing you how to fish, then a tip should be based upon how much time and effort a crewmember has contributed to making your trip as pleasant as possible
